what dreambox should i buy?

Hi guys im new to this, could anyone point me in the right direction on what dreambox to buy for the footy on thor 1w?

Whats your budget and are you looking to have fixed or motorised dish? Also you will need to be fairly pc literate if you want to play with a dreambox.

Thanx for the reply, budget is not really an issue, in all honesty all iam looking for is something for thor 1w (football). I was paying ?1100 per year for sky calcio but realised canal + scandinavia was the way to go with a dreambox for much less ???

Is this for a Pub? The only way to obtain these channels is by CardSharing, Whether that is using a DreamBox or a Server based IP receiver. CardSharing chat is not allowed here but if you google CardSharing there will be forums there for you mate to read through.

Why would he have to cardshare to get a canal + sub? If he was paying ?1100 for Sky italia a valid canal + sub will cost about the same.

But yeah you are right about cardsharing for a pub, I'd be annoyed if I was watching in a pub and it started freezing.

i think its more the fact that showing 3pm kick off's or any premier league match that is not broadcast by Sky is dangerous as landlords can end up in court, couple into this the fact that if you show C+ using keys this would be even more illegal then i wouldnt be suprised if a custodial sentence was handed out

if you want HiDef, then go for a DM 800

bit overkill for just the football..

i'd just plump for a cheap box like the Blackbox 500S or another 500S clone..

If its just for the footy then this will do the job

LoL. If you do decide to cardshare in your pub then buy a ip receiver as these dont freeze alot. Then again if the server goes your ~~~~ed.

No, just suggesting an investment for the future, my friend..... how many times I have said I only want this, but then decide I want this after, is a commaon error.....so my point is do it right the first time and invest in some thing else in this hobby of ours.
I suspect that we don't discuss "these" other options open to Dreamers....so I leave it open to the poster to decide....
