    i live in countryside

    i live in the sticks and i dont get cable but some1 mentioned about a dreambox,can i buy a basic dreambox and dish and pick up all the channels i would if i had skytv, any info would be very grateful,also what type of dish would i need and are they very expensive? cheers!!!

    you cant get all uk sky channels for free without a subscption to sky
    with a dreambox and a small dish you can pickup the free channel like a freeview box bbc itv etc
    dm800-s=1.1 m triax motorised dish=titanium twin lnb

      You'll pick up all the sky channels but you will need a card to decrypt most of them.

      If you haven't got a card there are other ways of getting the channels but they you can't talk about them here. Google cardsharing and see where that takes you.

        the NDS encryption makes it not a viable option for your primary TV source.. its ok for watching a bit of sport but constant freezes and pixelation is not my idea of good TV

            it makes no difference if the box is hard wired with a cable or wireless..

            the internet is just the carrier of information.. the information is the 'problem' in this case
