Hey,

Great source of info here. Not that long bought first linux based sat box.

Tried two images up until now, Nabilosat Darkstar 2 and Pli Jade.

Gave up on Darkstar 2, last coupld of days, not been able to access any downloads, I have done before. There site doesn't look right just now either.

Pli jade, quite liked, nice features, but Nabilosat was easier to use.

Going to download the no bomb gemini image, seems like it was the most popular until the bomb image came out.

What do people think. Should I try it, or should I stick with the others?

i use Gemini 4.2 mate and have done for over a year now.. very stable.. its in the downloads section.. dreambox --> images, last page

Are you aware of any issues with Nabilosat, like I said there website is not right from what I can see. Normally the download menu is filled, but was empty yest, thats why I tried, PLi.

i would probally do what opsmonkey says
there is a newer no bomb gemini image
which works on my openmedia stb which is like a clone ,i think the image reads the mac address which ~~~~s the box up i think
but others have used it and worked , but thats up to you if you try it

Ok, re-flashed the box with an old gemini 4.40 image. Working fine, full list of channels on 19.2. Networked, so got it online.

Attempting to ftp files onto box, again no problem, but not quite got the outcome I was expecting.

With Cam's, I know to re-start after ftp and installation etc.

Still not the outcome I was expecting. Any little things with Cam's that I am missing?

have you tryed cccam with this card in your box
download that to your bx see if that does anything
