How to direct recording on my pc

I follow the guide 'how to set up a mount for direct recording"
When i select mount i get "mount not ok"
I am using a linksys router on my home lan.
When i look at the properties of the shared folder i see read only.
ANY IDEA ? Why i cant mount .

I always use the web interface to set up a mount, much easier than using the remote, try that.

And if you can post screenshots of your settings it's would be easier for us to see any problems.

Can you also answer the following please...

    PC ip address -
    Dreambox ip address -
Name of shared folder on PC (on c drive) -
Username of account on PC -
Does your account on PC use a password?

If your PC doesn't need a password, i.e. it boots up to the desktop, then leave the password field blank.

Thanks i think the problem might be the way i created the shared folder,i right click on the desktop.
I should have created the folder in the root directory
"i created my recordings folder in start>computer>your main hardrive>create folder to recordings>then right click on folder and share"
I will try this when i get home, still at the office.
