DM800 Problems flashing new image - no ip appears in window on boot

Hoping somebody can help me here, i've already got a couple of dreamboxes which i've used for a few years and al working fine.

My friend has just bought a clone from china (Dreambox800HD) when it boots up it has a sunray4 logo with enigma 2. The problem is trying to configure the tuner and it doesn't have an option to select 28e so i want to put a new image on the box.

Now from past experience, when i boot the box up and hold the power button, STOP will appear and an ip address above it and then i just put that ip address in my browsers and flash the new image across.

Problem is, no ip address appears, just dhcp ... anything i need to do to get this working?

You have an option of switching off the DHCP to an IP address manually or leave DHCP as it is and connect your box to a computer and start DCC program.
On DCC Connection menu under the dream image click on search for the program to find the IP address for you.

two things come to mind is there a button on the rear that you
hold and then turn the box on to get the ip on the lcd screen,
the sunray boxes iv'e seen have this red button on them
also if 28e is'nt in the satellite list have you tried loading a satellite
xml file on the box so you get the latest satellites and active tp's

Thanks guys, i solved the problem, i was trying to flash the image over wifi, as soon as i connected the box direct to my router i could get the ip address to appear on the box lcd. New image now flashed and all working.
