DM8000 no internet

hi have a dream box 800 se been flashed and added channels but cant pick my internet up connecting with ethernet net threw a power line adapter ..have a skybox f5 and it works fine on that but thought id up grade to a dream box. but cant pick up the internet ..can anybody help please

go to menu setup network mate sure DHCP is on

done that friend this box worked at my mates house when he had it plugged straight into the router ..why wont it work when it goes threw a power line adapter but my f5 will ..
