Right I currently have a sim2.01 dreambox with DM800 CLONE COBRA1423 IMAGES v00.4a sim2 oe2.0 ssl84d image.
I have just brought for the other room what I thought was the same type of box only to find that actually I purchased the same type of box but it has a e-star sim.
Doing a bit of reading I think I might have made a mistake as apparently this sim works differently to a sim 2.01.
Am I able to install the same image onto this box or will it not work?
If I was to upload a new first bootloader, would that work or would i screw it up?
Can I purchase a new sim2.01 for this dreambox?
If the above cannot be done. What images do I have at my disposal to use for estar 3.0?
I noticed also on this estar dreambox its using a different tuner. Its called eardatek rather than the ALPS tuner. Are there any differences between the two?
Any advice on this would be appreciated as I am sort of stuck and dont want to ruin the box by uploading an incorrect image.
