    Novice - help required please..!

    Hi All

Would like to purchase a dreambox but not sure which one would be the best for a newbie to start off with.

The house doesn't have a satellite dish either - I was going to go for a non motorised one. I don't have thousands to spend so can anyone recommend me a good dish that will pick up UK channels - not really bothered about stuff outside of the UK.

    Thanks

You can get a Sly dish fitted for peanuts and you wont get any more channels with a Dreambox. I'm not talking you out of one as I've several myself but they not just a plug and play box you need to learn a few things to get the best out of your box. If your budget is tight you might be better off getting a Skybox.

you can buy satellite dish kits on ebay quite cheaply , as long as your ok up a ladder and using a drill you could fit the dish your self , but it must be on a south facing wall with no obstructions .

enigma boxes are not that hard , if you can use a computer you are half way there , and you can get the other 50% of the way with some help or good tutorials . but enigma 2 boxes are definately the best boxes , as you can add such apps as tsmedia for lots of free movies and iptv .
i love it when a dreambox comes together.
