Dreambox Dolby Digital dead? (DM800HDSE)

For no apparent reason, I can't seem to get any DD5.1 sound out of my Dreambox optical connection, even though it's been perfectly fine for ages. The cable works fine with my PC, and I've tried another working cable with it but no joy. Could it be the image gone wonky? I have the OpenOli image and rebooting hasn't helped.

I really hope the box's DD5.1 output isn't broken

Yep, it's like the unit's just forgotten what the optical output is all about
