Available Space

Hi,

I want to install new skins and other stuff but facing insufficient space issue. I have 480 KB available to use. How can I free some space and use for other stuff. I do not want to delete any file which might effect the system.

Ok, firstly goto /var/etc then you will see terrestial.xml and cable.xml remove these files as you are only interested in the satellitre.xml. this will give you some more space. Then you can look into a /var/ mount on your pc (not sure how its done).

Cable.xml is only 10 KB and terrestrial.xml is 2 KB. So no use to delete these files. The other thing var/mount, there is no such folder in dreambox.

OK i know there is no such directory as var mount. I meant you can mount a remote /VAR directory on your pc and using network mount on your receiver you can use the PC mount as your var
