Ok I have always been a fan of the DM500s and can fix any issues myself with that box.
However I wanted to start venturing into IPTV etc so invested my money into a shiny new DM800HD.
I tried and tried for ages following tuts on how to update the image and I finally found an image that actually worked (Openpli 2.1).
Now for my issue. TSMedia is on V6 and I think the current version is V7.something. When I try to update it won't because my image is only 1.6 not 2.0.
So I thought I could just update it to an image that is 2.0.......... well I was wrong because every image I have tried I get the error saying image not supported or words to that affect. I have searched the trusty web but every search I have done leads me to the Estar website and it doesn't look like they update their site anymore or even answer posts.
I'm beginning to wonder if it is even possible to update my box to a 2.0 image??
One thing I have noticed is people talking about a second stage bootloader mine is 84 but don't have a clue what it means.
Any help or info would be greatly welcome as my 500s is getting closer to being plugged back in.
Thanks in advance.
