Ftp not transfering files

Hi people!

I am trying to transfer a cccam.cfg file to my dreambox I am using dcc and I have done this before, the box is connected and I am transferring the file into the etc as I have done before but nothing happens when I click the transfer button! I get no reason why, I have also tries this with fxp with the same outcome! could someone pls pls help

Is the box connected , can you see the contents of the box in ftp
Are you on a wired connection ,if so check you have the correct cable ...........Paul

Yes pal the box is connected all the boxes files are there and I am using a Ethernet cable, I was fully set up when the box got switched off and for some reason I could not get channels on! Got a new line and was in the process of editing the cccam file when I deleted it by mistake! Now I can't put 1 back!

Is it possible to transfer files from the box.
or wont it do anything .
See if the file will transfer to the temp folder
Try a different cable Pal...................Paul

Guys can we lay off the 'Line' and Ccam.cfg part as the forum rules dictates this is a no go area

or wont it do anything .

I transferred the file into the temp folder and it worked but still when I try to transfer into etc nothing happens, tried a different cable still with the same outcome!
