I'm a little new to this. Im thinking of purchasing a dreambox and heard that you can use it to watch showtime sports channels in the uk .

Is this possible ??? and what set-up do i need ???

hi you would need a very big dish 1.8meter+ a understanding wife a dreambox would open it at presant but they are changeing encryption soon there are plenty other options with out jodrell bank in your back garden toget the football

ShowTime / Orbit are changing Encryption very Soon (Viaccess), Also they are changing to official receivers in the Middle East with anti-cardsharing technology to combat Piracy...

You are only waisting your money if you intend running after Showtime ! it will dissapear very soon from our screens without a official Subscription .....

I have previously posted on this subject over the past few weeks (but as is the case with a lot of stuff it over looked ).

Showtime will no longer be received via Keys or C/S by Christmas if not sooner, as they regard the Piracy of there service primarly down to the fact they broadcast Premiership Football across football mad ! Middle East.

The Superbox receivers is been released across the Middle East boasting New Anti-cardsharing Technologue along with a change of Encryption, This Service will dissapear very soon for us that receive it without a official subscription Card, Along with a Ban wave across the Middle East of Dreambox which is curently taking Place ... Very little will be coming from this part of the world for us to Enjoy.

there is nothing wrong with Stoke!!!!! Dull, Bolton and Brummy city then yes...

anyway, I think you will find that they have the lost the rights to Prem footy at the end of next season. The tw*ts that own Manc shity have brought the rights. Abu daby something..... not sure where that will be broadcast thought, prob same 7w,25e though!
