I'm not sure if this is in the right place, apologies if it isn't, hopefully someone can help me though as this is driving me mad. On Thursday I had a Mag 254 box delivered and took out a subscription to an IPTV service. All was and still is working fine on that count. I didn't use my pc until the Saturday morning and noticed the internet was really sluggish on my pc...it was fine on the IPTV. It was that slow I left it in the end and just enjoyed my feast of football. When I got up on Sunday morning I noticed I hadn't got any internet access on my pc at all. I checked all the cables, went through every troubleshoot I could find on the internet relating to this problem. Ethernet doesn't have a valid IP configuration. I did the release/renew walk through, and got the message eventually saying, unable to contact your DHCP server. I've tried the cable from the pc into other free ports to no avail, but the IPTV service is still working fine. I'm assuming this must have something to do with the IPTV service I took out as it only started to be a problem then. I am using BT Infinity 80mb download speed using home hub 5. Could this be some conflicting issues with mac addresses as I had to give the mac address of the mag box to my IPTV supplier, maybe I'm just clutching at straws there as I don't really have a clue, I just desperately need it fixed. Thanks in advance for any advice.
IPTV caused internet loss.

I doubt its the IPTV service or the Mag254, the reason for the request of MAC addy is so they can add your machine to the portal and traffic only goes one way from them to you, I dont use the HH router with my Infinity the Router BT supply is absolutely shocking for most port forward tasks etc..
How are your wireless devices reacting to the HH5 is all OK from wireless point of view or is that causing problems as well
