DM800HD Sim Changing !

Dear All DreamBox experts, I have DM 800 HD PVR with E-Star Sim, I want to change sim to SIM 2.01.


1. Is it safe to change the Sim from E-Star to Sim 2.01?
2. How I can change the sim & than flash the box?

I saw tuts its easy to change, but why do u change the sim ?
also read often sim 2.10 , im reading much but never understood what that is for

You may be better to change to the A8P SIM as that can use unpatched images.

The two questions still not answered friends :
1. Is it safe to change the Sim from E-Star to any Sim ?

Its no problem to change, but you have to change the simcard inside the box (you have to open it). When you have to buy a simcard than buy a A8P sim. If you replace your e-starter sim wit a A8P sim, than you can flash any original image in the same way how you flash the box now with e-starter sim. You will have an "original box".

There is no A8P for DM800HD, only Japhar Triple Sim (that does Ferrari+Japhar+Sim2), the Sim2 2.01/2.10. As Ferrari stopped and estar as well. A8P was sold (they finish the stocks) for DM800HDse and DM500HD only, but they stopped production in July 2015, the ones still sold are from the old stock sold in July 2015.
