what do i need? dreambox info

hi all my fist post here, ive got a strview box on cable and soon all channels will be lost and im trying to get some info on the dreambox sat . i need to know bluntly what do i need to get all the sat channels, any help would be great.

this is how basic i need the info as i dont even have a dish yet ! so from the start if poss chaps.

firstly mate you need to read the dreambox satellite forum and then you would have known that sky satellite is not open / hacked like cable so if you want to watch Sky UK programs through a satellite box then buy an official subscription..

There is one way via cardsharing but it requires a high level in-depth knowledge of networking etc and can not be talked about here..

Satellite is not a plug and play system like the cable boxes

PS..

people have been saying that channels will be lost soon on cable for over a year now and they haven't.. (unless you live in ireland)
