Extrend et8500 turning itself on in morning.

Hi hope someone can help me out my extrend et8500 turns itself on and the cross epg doesn't load up on the extrend. Until I manually go into download now then it works and I have an internal hdd. And I have tried ally of setting still no luck on the cross epg. Please hope someone can help thanks

delete the epg.dat file and start a fresh sometimes these do become corrupted , or use another downloader such as epgimport which has an option to delete the epg.dat before it downloads new data
