satellite disk but no subscription- will dreambox work (newbie

I'm sure this is posted elsewhere, but I just cant find it...

My mum currently has a Sky satellite disk and a Sky box with a card in it, but she doesnt subscribe to any services with Sky. She currently gets the 'free' channels when the card is in the box.

My question is: if i buy her a satellite Dreambox or an Eurovox Ultra box & connect it up - will she then have access to all channels (like the flashed Eurovox does) inc PPV? (without having to subscribe)

no she wont be able to the encryption is far to difficult to break, the only option is to c/s << (banned subject here tho) with a dreambox but its not free and would need to be set up with an internet connection

if i do still get her the dreambox though, does she get any additional channels other than the standard freeview ones she is currently getting?

(just trying to work out if its worth buying it all?)

no sorry but she will only get the free ones, if she wants more channels from sky then its best to ring them for advice to recieving more they have some good offers on right now, you dont have to take them all they come in different packages movies and sport being the expensive ones

Plus dreambox nowhere near as easy to navigate for someone who does not know them.
