hi guys, iv recently bought a dreambox 500s
i normally only used cable boxes (starview and itgate mostly) but as nagra 3 is on the way i have decided to take the plunge and try sat stuff rather than cable
i did have a technomate box but i only used that for the football (celtic games on polsat) but moved last year and never put it back up
anyway after finding out these channels were no longer available i decided to buy the dreambox and its been great
i didnt relise you could do so much stuff with them
right now im trying to watch films iv downloaded on my laptop but im having problems as they are not converted to the right format
after going through lots of posts on here i downloaded the allok avi converter from dreambox downloads but i need a licence name and code anyone have any ideas where i can get one from - i dont want to pay as it beats the point of streaming it rather than burning it to dvd
also this forum is great - never been on it until last night (yes iv been up all night playing with my dreambox) i normaly only use another forum but a lot more on this one
