you know your gonna lose cable so its pay them big bucks if you want it, the days of peeps getting all and taking for granted are well and truly over, now if you want sky you can pay them big bucks or go sat route but everyone is gonna have to pay some way

I wanted to know if any one could card share for free, obviously not but a friend of mine lives in Scotland & he gets all the channels except adult for ?40 every 3 months. That's a decent price, does anyone know of a better price for card sharing but it has to be reliable. My friend has tried others but they all stuttered and were annoying to watch. Bearing in mind I live in london, if that makes a difference.

If someone could point me in the direction of a uk sky card sharing tutorial that would help.

Thanks that answer really helped me out dickhead. I'm only asking for a nudge in the right direction or even a pm. Forgot cardsharing broke forum rules, my apologies. The cable part of this forum has alot of help but the satelite part seems very vague or confusing for newcommers who have never had sky in their life. So it seems pointless trying to get people to make the transition if you're just going to post stupid replies when they come here to seek advice.

If some one could put together a short pdf or youtube video like shaddy did for the dream box 500c but aimed at people using the 500s and intend on paying a sub to use s*y UK, that would be perfect.

its not that we dont want to help you its that we cant.The problem is there are only 2 ways of getting sky
1: buy a subscription which is no help to you
2: Cardshare which is against the rules
to be brutally honest sky is the one off hardest to open of the subscriptions and also one of the most expensive to buy and Murdocks gestapo watch sites like this with lawyers waiting to hand out writs
I cant see the point in using a dreambox for a sky sub when sky will give you a free box when you buy a sub off them.Thats why no one has made a video

Ok thanks for that reply firestorm, and when I said sub with a dreambox I meant monthly fee towards a C word server/site not a sub with s*y. My fault for wording it that way.
Is it against rules to pm this stuff ? as I just want 1 that won't stutter for london area as my mate seems to have struck gold in Scotland.

personally i dont understand how anyone wants anythng for 'free'. as if thats what youre seeking you WILL get ripped off. someone may offer you something for say ?20 a month so you go out and buy whatever they suggest and pays your money. then you will find the service to be very unusable. hows about getting something yourself and sharing with someone else so in effect you and they get exactly what you want. ie you sub to movies they sub to sports together you get full package and a very reliable system. and only yourselves to look to if things go wrong. that sthe idea of sharing. hope im not breaking the rules here. but isnt this why we come to these boards? to learn how to do stuff ourselves? its not rocket science.

well said there are alot looking for a quick cheap fix and there is not one.The day of buying a box pluging it in and then forgeting about it are numbered.The sat side is more of a hobby than a replacement for sky.My wife will not even pick up the remote to my dreambox

CS should be about sharing not free tv so B4 anyone starts looking about getting free SKY or anything else look at what you can offer the person back thats paying X amount of pounds/euros for what your after.Think what can i offer for a share !!!!!!!! sky is one of the top packages out there

Would you pay ?700 per year and give some away for free i know i wouldnt something in return yes. Some provider cards can be picked up for ?50 - ?100 and its a great hobbie

mods i know cs is frowned upon but it's getting to a stage that every other ? in sat section is pointing in some direction towrards it in one way or another

i have full sky incl hd. and some have some poxy sex cards for less than ?100 a year. ok its my choice whether i share with them but i dont watch sky at all its about giving yourself that choice and exploring whats out there. and i dont like sports. LOL

Ok i got cable dreambox atm, and iam looking at getting the sat 1. Few questions. Iam moving house soon so iam not gonna set up a motorised dish up just yet but i have a sat dish on me wall atm can i hook that up to a dreambox ? If so what channels iam i gonna get? i know ill get the basic ITV and stuff but what about any foriegn stuff or american things like that? Iam not arsed about card sharing and stuff ill keep me basic channels on me cable i just want more tellie i dont mind what . Sorry its all 1 paragraph me enter button is broke on the laptop atm .
