turning sat

if my sky mini dish is facing 28e and i manually turn to 13e how do i find channels do i scan for them or do they automatic come on when you turn dish ?

you would need to scan for them and keep the channels you recieve in a bouquet but im not sure what you can get on 13e with minidish, im on 1m but fairly new to sat myself

no you need to scan for them or the quick and easy way is to load some one elses like vanibal settings

well i guess your going to go up the ladder ever time you want to switch from 28e to 13e which is a bit harder then loading a channel list as you are using the setting 1 lnb no disc it will only store 1 sat. so i would load your channel list with dreamboxedit and save them and every time you climb the ladder flash them back

DOWNLOAD channel setting then ftp them to etc/enigma2 then select a channel on 13e have a mate looking at the tv why you turn the dish turn it very slowwly and dont be in front of it keep to the side as not to block the birds signal you will not have to turn it very much as you are looking at it face on so you want to trun it left ok be fore you move it mark it so you no were 28 is

Imagine having a tv with one of those old mobile arials and you set the tv to a particular channel, you then wave the aerial around until you get a signal or picture. That is basically what you are doing when you move your dish but it is a lot harder as you need to be very accurate to pick up the sat with the 60cm dish.
