    some advice for a newbie

    Hello

If you can spare me a few minutes of your time i would really appreciate it?

I have been trying to read up as much as i can regarding
getting a satelite system and trying to find out what i need
    and what work is involved.

The installation should not be a problem (he says)
I am an engineer by trade as well as running a window cleaning business and some of the excellent tuts on here should do the trick

I am looking at getting a Dreambox 500s clone from probably
linuxsat what would be the best dish and motor and lnb to get me started? or would i be best just speaking to linuxsat on the phone and get job lot from them?

I already have virgin installed so it wont be my primary way of viewing, its for my garage,That has a projector installed
    in it.

It is a hobby, but like everything i do want to try and get some football on it (if its possible)

The programming side of things should be okay as i did a HND in computing at night school a few years back, but didnt want to work in that area after 2 years of work .

Your replies would be appreciated when you get a spare minute Cheers
