box stopped connecting to net

got a problem with my dreambox it doesnt seem to be connecting to net or pc the router itself is connecting to the web and seems fine

problem is from the router to box and i aint sure what it is i have comtrend adaptors and im thinking it may be one of them as one of them only has an orange light on

i think they are supposed to have 2 lights on 1 orange and 1 yellow if someone could confirm please because i have no instructons

Why dont you connect the box and router with a lan cable,if that works then your problem is them adaptors.

Run ipconfig on the box to see if it has an ip addreess
Is ip address static or DHCP assigned?

Ping the box from a PC to see if it replies.

Reboot both box and router to eliminate any ip software issue

but anyways 1 doesnt work it seems to stay on standby buttons dont seem to do anything either i think its ~~~~ed


im gonna get some extra long cable an run it round the house it shud sort it out
