The HD boxes have Enigma2 and the normal boxes such as the dm600 have Enimgma1 . You should be able to use the Enigma1 settings on Enigma2 boxes but not the other way round. On cable we tend to configure our settings to our locations in the country wheras in sat we tend to configure our channel listings according to our country. On sat there are a lot of people who create channel listings but they tend to have tendency to create them according to their prefernces depending on whereabouts they tend to live in Europe. I always preferred the Captains listings as he was the one I found to be the most UK friendly but he is not created anything for almost 12 months so I tend to mix match different channel listings.Comment

This will be fine for your standard dm600. It might be easier to get your head round it if you try and imagine all the different locations you can get round the country but you are only really interested in tailoring it to your particular location. On sat by location we usually mean the country rather than the region.Comment
