For use gemini project image with a bomb in to dreambox clone please change imediately your mac . I post a pach for bootloader .

IS OK NOW ...MY DREAMBOX 500 CLONA HAVE MAC ORIGINAL .

Does this work with the DM600s Clones as well?

Hmm,

before coming here I did not even know there are clone boxes! NOw I see there are even tools to enable them to work flawlessly to run any images. I will give it a try since I bought a DM500S of eBay and it turned out to be a clone

yes and no.. when the first clones rolled out the MAC's were 00:12:25....
the 'vely crever' chinese soon cottoned onto this and ensured MAC's became 00:09:34..

Simply.. If you have bought a 'new' Dreambox 500S/C/T in the last 18 months its a clone.. Dream stopped making them 2 years ago..

i wasn't 100% sure,so i opened it up to make sure but it is a clone! it is different on the inside than a couple of pics I have seen but it is a clone.Does that mean I will need to get a proper MAC address for it guys?I took a couple of pics of it opened up if anyone wants to have a goosey?

No.. your clone is fine.. just AVIOD any Gemini image higher than 4.2..

Check the download area.. There are loads of D500 images

Will the DB500s work better if I change the MAC?

Wonder how long until Dream Media come up with another scheme to detect the clones (especially DM800 - 8000) And thanks for the upload btw.
