    Monoblock setup 1E and 5E help!? :-)

    Hi :-)

I Got a problem setting up My Vu+ Duo so I can watch channels from 1W and 5E. I am using a monoblock 6 degree (this one http://www.bmradio.dk/product_info.p...oducts_id=2793 )

I dont know what the settings has to be on the receiver??

Hope anyone can help me.. :-)

    Regards Simon from Denmark.

yes mate, the problem is that the degree of separation for your monoblock is 6 degrees but you are trying to use it to pick up two satellites that are only 5 degrees in separation..

on your settings under satellite configuration you need to select 2 satellites by DiSEqC.. then place the weaker signal as option A and the stronger one as option B..

I'm not sure it will work though.. maybe someone else could clarify

Thanks for the response, but that did not work, i am only able to scan channels on 5E, I find that pretty strange.

      ny1 else out there? :')

          I found a solution!

lnb1 should be AB and lnb2 should be BA. and then when you search do the separate satellites scan.

          That worked for me.. :-)

            @opsmonkey
            1W - 0 (1 degree)
            0 - 1E (2 degrees)
            1E - 2E (3 degrees)
            2E - 3E (4 degrees)
            3E - 4E (5 degrees)
            4E - 5E (6 degrees)

            So, your answer is wrong!
Old post, yes I can see that.

It's a dual LNB ( 2 LNB's in a single case ) so you can receive 2 satellites normally 6 degrees apart, without moving the dish.

just tried reading online what an lnb is (low noise block) that all went over my head
