Are you sure you have L3 tuner, your problem with HD is strange as L3 tuner and in line amp from here works perfect on even a mini dish...

I would check the rev of your tuner as j or k tuner are very bad even with inline amp.

Have you checked your ECM times..? as it might not be the tuner maybe high ECM rate causing freezing m8.. i got mine from there too and its been perfect my ecm time is 0.173 to 0.182

ok going by the photo on the site the tuner in my box is not an L3 tuner ??? here is some photos of the tuner in my box

It's has rev L3 on underside of board,

you need to take out the tuner rev is printed on the underside of board

Ok most images for dm800 will display extra info when pushing ok twice, so when you when you are watching tv push ok to see the banner at bottom with what channel your on etc push it again so basicly double ok it should give you extra information bar witch contains who you connected to and current ecm time witch changes roughly every 6 seconds, lower the ECM time the better high ECM will cause bad glitching good ecm times are like 0.156 once your eCM rate goes up over 0.300 it can start glitching so if you see a time of 1.234 your screen will virtually be blank, this is just a rough guide... what i say to people who get freeze quickly double ok and check your ecm time

cheers mate , ecm seems to go up when glitching to about 2.500 to 3.000 , presume that aint good , and maybe thats my glitching cause ,

No that's not good anything over 0.300 will glitch on 28.2e because of the code change cycle every 6 seconds so if the code changes and the box takes to long to receive the ecm so it will freeze will waiting for it, you need to check soon as it freezes thou as you may find you will see 1.287 something like that witch would be a complete freeze

yes mate , 2.xxx , the 2 before the dot , have emailed server fella , and awaiting his response , others on his server have issues too
