    installing C@jton Dreambox Settings

    Hi , Just trying to setup my motorised dish and downloaded C@jton Dreambox Settings from internet with pc , Just not sure how to install them , any pointers most appreciated , or any other recommendations i can download via yellow button on dreambox

      Google and download a program called Dreamboxedit and us that for sending your settings to your box.

          tried that but getting message "directory C/services contains no services or lamedb file "

          Ive put the files from C@jton Dreambox Settings in the services folder within c drive

          Is there not an easy way to do it with ftp , just ftp to certain folder perhaps ?

          any advice appreciated

                  any luck yet mate? if not you need to click the open button on dreamboxedit then locate your folder with the settings in then double click the file and you should see some grey text appear in the "files" box to the right of your folders .Then click ok and it should say processing and hopefully all the details will be loaded up . then click FTP and send files to dreambox . Hope this works/helps you .

                      Hi Dranny , thanks for the pointer , gave up on dbedit , it kept putting my old cable channels back to the box for some reason , anyhow i have downloaded vhannibal from the green button on dm , set that up and all looks good now , tomorrow is dish day , hope that goes a bit smoother ,
