copying saved settings

first of all is there a program that can store a copy of my saved channels and be able to fttp to a friends box (same box)?
also has the image got to be the same?
my image 4.3.1 my friends 4.1 gemini

you can use dreamset m8, and the image doesnt have to be the same m8

yeah its pretty much straight forward just make sure you click on the setup/settings box and set your correct dreambox ip and username/password or it will never connect

hi yes got that saved a copy, i take it that it cannot save two or more copies as it seams to default to services. is that correct?
(Done that now)
connect new db set ip etc. do i have to delete previous saved channels or will it over write them?

hi again, in set up do i have to delete the stored config? on new box before writing?
or do i simply connect 2nd box through ip setting then open saved file then write it to new box?
