Searching Astra 28.2E comes with only 5 channels Why? Help!!

Hi guys...searching Astra 28.2E gives me only 5-10 channels,but all the other Sats are very good and get up to 1500 each ,Thor 08.W ,Astra 19,2E, Hotbird 13.0Eetc...
what im doing wrong..I have motorized dish and dreambox 800 HD Pvr Clone and Dreambox 600 Pvr with Gemini 4.70 installed..using usals and GotoX

-Blindscan gives nothing
-Automatic Search ..nothing
-Automatic or normal tranporder search nothing
updated the sat.xml..same thing

I had the same problem but after checking everything I found that my signal amplifier was for aerial, so i took it out and did the re scan and all channels for Astra 28 came.

It could be that the connection is loos or poor signal.

i don't have signal amp...and the signal is very good
but it just comes with 0 channels after search

are you just searching on a single transponder ?, that has caught me out before

No I'm searching the whole Sats..I even loaded Vhannibal and alot of other settings..
One thing i notice when I move the motor to 28.2E and choose channels it gives me SNR 80% AGC 99% and BER is like 40033 something..maybe thats my problem

sounds weird its only 28.2e you have problems with ?
could be a few things
check your cable from your dish to the dm800 and from lnb to motor
dish slightly out
nothing blocking line of sight to the satellite
longitude and lattitude is ok

Ok West!..to answer your Q's here
-Not only 28.2E i got also problem with Sirus 4,8E, 7.0E and many others
-The cable is high quality new one..i just used like four days
-The LNB "MTI High Line – Super High Gain Low Noise 0,2db"
-Nothing blocking
-dish slightly out? maaybe 'll check
-longitude and lattitude IS ok.. I put these Latitude: 58.9924? N Longitude: 16.1740? E

One thing I wanna know is The dish Elevation is different between these Sats..its like if I've 23 degree dish elevation on Hotbird or Astra 19.2 with good view but 22.2 degree dish elevation on Astra 28.2E or Sirus 4.8 but no picture ..maybe thats the problem and i need to fix a little bit dish elevation..what you think guys...

my dish is almost vertical , not much elevation , going off the settings that came with dish an motor it was way out , as i say almost upright and my signal was perfect , is this a new dish installation ?

put it on say thor 1w then see if the dish is all most up right like southpaw said may need a little adjustment there
then go back to 28.E try a scan then on a few others worth a try

also i didnt put my exact long/lat in , i went to multimap , entered my postcode and got 2 sets of co-ordinates , then put the 2nd set into my db , entered the bolded underlined stuff below

Lat: 53:25:20N (53.42227)
Lon: 3:02:05W (-3.0348)

think the minus sign equates to west worked for me

Here in Sweden we have only Thor 0.8W the other thor wont work.."as i heard" maybe i'm wrong but my Longitude 16 is Eutelsat/Eurobird 16.0E So thats my south right
and when the motor is 0 i have good signal at Eutelsat/Eurobird 16.0E...thats how i searched other channels
