how to scan channels?

Hello,

Let say your sat dish drived by a motor is correctly installed. What is the best way to scan, lock and get TV channels?

I put my longitude and latitude within Goto function then "Menu > Setup > Service Searching > Automatic Transponder Scan"?

or should I disable Goto function and add manually satellites, then next page for scanning?

I use the 'go to ' function and I load the Capatain settings for my channels that way I can just flick through with the remote to whatever channel I wanto to watch.

i have found storeing the channels manually get better results on the weeker sat i also turn the power up on the motor i ve now installed 17 set up this way and never had a problem
