Attheraces on dreambox

I know this is not a new issue, but does anyone know how i can get my dreambox to pick up attheraces on 28E ???? I have typed the in 10876 mhz, v 5/6 fec and symbol rate 22000. But the box won't lock or sync on that transponder???

you have the correct frequency ,try changing fec to auto ,a question are you picking up bbc and itv and five ok,the reason i ask is that if your not getting them or the picture is poor your dish may be out of alignment. the fact the sync is not locking would also indicate that your dish needs to be realigned. your snr should be atleast 90% as should agc ,to check your signal levels first pick a few strong channels as a test and then try channels that you feel are week ,press menu and choose number 6 (setup) then choose service searching ,and then choose satfind. if all transponders that you check are at acceptable levels and you still cant recieve this transponder yoy may need a new lnb for your dish .

ok, thanks for that, I am only getting 83 on the signal and 56 on the agc. Not picked up the bbc either.

If you have not got a meter to line it up correctly the best way to do this is move your dish slightly to the left till the picture starts to break up then put a mark there, then move your dish slowly to right till it breaks up then put a mark there, you then put a mark in the middle of the 2 marks you have just made and then move your dish to that mark, tighten up those bolts and do exactly the same with the up and down and you will get a good picture.
