Free sky sports?

Hi everyone

I'm thinking of buying a dreambox and wondered if anyone could advise on the best box/way of accessing sky sports, i already subscribe to the basic package but understand i maybe able to unlock the encoded channels aswell. So if this sounds like a silly queston but i'm kinda new to this and after reading up on it was wondering if i'm wasting my time. Thanks for any help.

but you probably want a cable box m8 for what you want not the satellite version

if you want to just watch sky tv the cable root is the best but if you like a hobbie and to play around you cant beat a sat box

you can get full sky package on sat box using card sharing and a lot more you will not get on a cable box. the skys your limit 8)

dreambox sat you can card share what ever package i have i can share to you you get your picture over satellite and not through a cable.

thats what the original post was asking. yes you can get sky sports/movies etc on a sat box for free and just about every other euro package sky Italy, poland, spain, Scandinavian just about them all most have the option to change audio back to English far better than a cable set up 5000+ channels

well if youve already got a lower packaged sky sub you may find it hard to get a higher package through sharing. ie what will be the benefit to your server? you basically have to offer something to get something and youre offering lower than what your seeking. (just a thought really).

you get what is called hops hop1 local card hop2 is shared from another peer hop3 ect.. i have basic package i still get full package and setanta sports. as long as you have a card of some sort to share you will open everything from hops 1,2,3,4. you just dont share your card 1-1. if you get a motor on your dish you will throw the cable tuner in the bin 9-)

p.s basic free x tv card is ?25 per year that will get you sharing plus there are loads of free servers around if you know where to look, there are around 20- 30 p.p.v-tv providers from all over Europe not just sky u.k.

for the card share thing... do you need to have a specialised dish or can the current sly dish do the job...?

best to get a motorised dish m8 at leat 80 cm to make the most from cardshare you will get most packages if you are one a sever from several satellites
