    uk sky

    just a quick one i have never bothered with sky since a got the old cable in.but i had a thought tonight and put the feed into my dreambox till i get my own dish sorted (its up just needs aligning properly)

    anyways why is five encrypted and sky sports news these are supposed to be freeview arnt they

    theyre encrypted so $ly can get you on their fta package, i suppose their thinking "right, we've got 'em with the fta, odds are they'll add a few extras on" and they call me shady

      yeh i just thought it was strange if you have a freeview box you get channel 5 and sky sports news i thought you had to provide channel 5 as its a terrestrial channel so to speak

      i can understand sky sports news a bit its ran by sky and i suppose its up to them

        I think their the only channels freeview pay for as extras to broadcast with sky three too.
