when you register for a host name what ip do you use is it the dreambox ip you use i have forwarded port 12000.
dont know what boxes to tick foir when regsitering host here is screenshot.

You use the IP address of your modem as no-one can see your dreambox if it is behind the router. The DNS host will forward to your modem/router and you need to set your router to forward that traffic to your dreambox.
