bouquet & conf file help

i am wondering is they any way to prioritise the way the conf file looks for its info and is they a program to detect fake files
secondly i want to import captains file into my GP image but where do i put it ?

any help would be great

I don't know what you mean by fake files.

To install the captains, copy the .tar.gz (or .tar.bz2) to the /tmp folder on your box. Go to the Addons menu in your image then choose 'manual addon' and then choose the file. It will install.

i mean fake as in fake C'rds in the conf fille

also all i have for captain is in zip format and not gz etc, i have searched above and this is the format that it comes so i can not use the suggested way that you gave, i have unzipped the file and i can see all the files & services.xml but where do i put these files in a DM500s

In that case, copy all the files to the /var/tuxbox/config/enigma folder and reload channels or pull the power plug and reboot.

If the channels don't appear, copy the userbouquet files to /var/tuxbox/config/enigma/cable and pull the power again. See if that works.

I know...install DreamboxEdit on your PC and copy the Captains folder to your desktop.

Load the services and bouquets into DreamboxEdit then transfer them to the dreambox, remember to hit reload services after transferring.
