blank screen on sat dreambox

hi new to sat dreambox found loads of channels on scan but when i go to view channels its just a blank screen even fta channels are blank & when i try to download addons it says host server cant be found , any help would be grateful , many thanks jon

are you connected to a router? you cant download addons if not, what sat did you scan, try to load bouquet
