drambox green light on but no reactions

Hi guys, few days ago I have managed to upload an gemini image into my new dreambox using the flashwizard since then I never enjoy it, after reading lot of writing here in this forum I decided to install a new image using the flashwizard .unfortunately during this operation i have accidentely unpluged the power on my dreambox.when I connected the power again nothing worked.
I'am triying to put another image using the dreamup,tried several of them but there always the same message,asking me to" connect my dreambox" but nothing happen for 12h now ...I did follow all the steps ...I can see that my PC reconise my dreambox everytime that I plug the power .the green light stay on .when I event hit the standby is no reacting ..connect the box to the TV the screen stay blue...is my box dead or there is there any hope to revive it ??helps .

You might want to try a flash erase with dreamup, I can't guarantee it will work but worth a try. Tell me how it goes

I have tried to use the dreamup but I only got the same message"connection prepared, switch your dreambox on" what else should I do mate? when I connect the power I can see my dreambox appearing DM500s then nothing happen...

"connection prepared,now switch on the dreambox" that is the message I receive all the time , I did tried 1.3.3.4 ,1.3.3.0 ...why is it that my dreambox light go green as soon I power the box and does not respond to the remote or to manual switch off ? is there another way to solve this prob ?? for 3 days this is driving me banana ...after all the time that I spend trying to enjoy the dreambox...

Green light on all the time is normal,

when you connect dreamup and power on box it identify the box, yes? next the flash buttons should become lit does this happen?

You did not mention which model receiver you have !

Im guessing he has a 500 as its more common than the 600 anyone taking bets..

are you using a rs232 to usb adaptor? if so try using a old pc with a rs 232 (old type printer port on it)socket.When all else fail i have saved a few 500s with a old pc running win98 and dream up

I think he is gone !

But if its the Green light of death on the new 500HD, you have to connect the receiver to the Router and then the Micro USB to your PC then use the latest version of Dreamup to kick life back into it.....

A little tricky but after a few goes it will boot up the new firmware ... but you must have both network & USB connected at the same time so that the Router will give it a new IP address. if you dont it will not work.

Thanks for all your support guys, DM500s ,rs 232 connected PC reconize the DM500s when the powered . the flash button stay grey but the disconnect button become lit .
The message is now "initiating flash-loader upload" How long should I wait for the next step and what should I do ?

a green bar should go across the screen and all buttons should become active green bar takes approx 10 seconds

nothing is happening with this version...for the moment keep on trying ,but stuck somewhere ...I hope that there will be a good end ..
