    Internal hdd wont initialise

    Hi,ive just installed a new intrnal hdd but i cant get it to initialise.its a 250gb western digital.Any ideas guys what to do next?

    Try device manager and restart DM.

      ive tried that.i can mount the drive then go to initialise it in menu options but it keeps giving me the error mount failed.

            Maybe format this HDD in PC and back to connect DM.

              make sure you have the jumpers on your hard drive set as master

                Keep doing HDD mount for few times,,,,and restart image,,it will mount eventually,,,I had the same problem,,and that what I done!

                  i sorted it in end.i flashed another image then flashed back to dream elite.


                  got another problem now with glitching on hd channels.ecm times are low and snr is around 80%.although when it does glitch ecm time goes up.ive tried in line amp but it makes no difference.

                      i did mate.my dish was out of alignment plus i had an lnb what was very poorly made.so i changed that as well.running great now.
