DK 1.1 adding a new CAM

    Hi,
I was reading through the DK 1.1 thread but it seems mainly filled with people happy with the pre-installed evocamd cam.

I was hoping to skip a little reading my being direct.

    I installed DK 1.1

held info for 3 sec and found preinstalled evocamd ok.
I then used blue KAOS Panel button and opened the addon manager.
I downloaded all the cccam files from delilfishs post http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...-0-10-a-10729/
and popped each into /tmp and used local install.
I would then try to use the the info for 3 sec chooser again but never found
extra cams in there. to make matters worse, when i used the tool to uninstall it removed the pre-installed evocamd.

I can sucessfully telnet in and copy the cams into the bin folders and chmod 755 them and start them manually. I do not know how to get them to show up in the GUI info for 3 sec place though.

Can someone please supply quick help here.

I also tried the files in the recent mgcam thread too
    Thanks in advance.

If your box is connected to your router, you can download emu from the addons server.

Yellow > Manager Suite > Addons Manager > DK Server > EMU

If not, I've attached it here. Copy the .tbz2 file to the /tmp folder and use the manual addons option to install.

oops, can you confirm, I think archive is broken.

EDIT: Above archive is all good now. Thanks Devilfish.
I'll try it on the box tonight, and try to learn what its doing

        Hmmm...maybe the forum doesn't like tbz2 files.

I've zipped it up, try again.
