big noooooob dreambox help

hi all hope u can help
I have been doing alot of reading on the net about the best way for me to have cable/sky since N3 came in. I am really lost but realise that my best option is the dreambox dm800. What i cant understand is do you need to be card sharing for this to work or is that something else. Also it all sounds really complicated so will it be worth my time and money or will it go down just like cable.

yes or you can get a sly or cable subs card

Not sure how much we can talk about c/s so will apologise if this post offends.
Regarding your question about c/s it will only go off if you stop paying the pirate,i mean payserver
