    Can anyone point me to a good tutorial for how to download and compile cccamd from source please!

      you have cccamd sources???? if so should be easy to compile

          No don't have cccamd sources and i'm still can't don't know where to get them.

              as far as im aware ther not public so you wont be able to compile them only emu i know of that is public is mgcamd (and sources are pretty old as is )
