Difrence between enigma 1 engima2 enigma 3

Got me all excited there thought a new enigma had been relseased .

Im all for Enigma 2, better images, skins, layouts, features than the Enigma.

ANYWAY-
Many times you don't have a choice between E1 & E2, unless you compile your own images....
As a fast & loose rule of thumb for Dreamboxes & similar STB's,,,,,,
.PPC boxes usually run Enigma1 images
&
.MIPS boxes run Enigma2 images..


There are exceptions to every rule I guess, but thats how it usually works..

Never heard of thay as far as i was aware your receivers such as dm800, 8000, 500, vu+ ran on enigma2 images.

Could anyone else spread some light on this?
