Will they support other than DM given that the licence for the forum is now with Dream Multimedia GmbH?

I had that feeling when they went walkabouts for a bit
But fingers crossed as you said.
Either way for DMM users its great news to see a group of devs coming on board that will only keep the brand on a high standing.
There are many good linux based boxes in market at moment as you said and maybe one or two of the team will look at them outside of the realms of DMM............. I hope

I would not put any of the Newer Dreamboxs near there Images ever again.
Tried it out on the new DB500-HD and it was a right Fuc! up, Blue Screen of death, Green Screen of Script, wrong Keymaps etc, I also understand a Vast amount of the new Dreambox 500HD were virtually bricked mainly by there Image.
I even tried all following Versions of there Images and all had the same Issues, The Software does not work well with the Dreambox Broadcom Processor and the extended Memory as there understanding of the architecture of new Dreambox models differs from the Vu+ models which they also support
Thus resulting in Dream-Multimedia to issue a statement that any Thrid Party software on a Receiver sent back to them with the Green LED of Death would not be covered anymore under warenty.
Do not put Dream-Elite Image anywhere near a Dreambox 500-HD or the New to be released 800-HD-Se It could easily Brick it .....Comment

cool
i was wanting to install this when i got my dm800 a few weeks ago but the server was down so now i will give it a try thanks for letting us know . i currently have pli jade 3 on my dm800 and it took my ages to set all my sats up ect is there a way i can save all my settings then add them to dreamelite image as i dont want to have to do all this again just to put this on and i like the way i have my settings just now so dont want to change them for anything ? any help would be well apprieciatedComment

If they are supported by MDD it means they may produce better images for DMM boxes,,,,and I welcome that!

Dmm Elite board is the official community for international support of Dreambox users in English and other locale languages.
Dream Multimedia and Dream Elite team have joined this project to create a reference point for all the international users that love dreambox products.
We all know that there are many local good boards in local languages like german, french and so on but we think that is time to have a real international community with the direct support of Dream Multimedia company in the mostly shared language (english) to exchange knowledge, support and experiences about our dear boxes.
So please remember that Dmm Elite is not the old Dream Elite board and is not a usually "Team Board".
Dmm Elite Board is something different and new opened for all dreambox lovers and not for a single team.
Please don't ask in this board about Dream Elite firmware or other team unofficial works.
We are here to support all the users.
