simply install the plugin ipk by dcc tools-upload package or send the ipk to tmp and install from dm800
The plugin should appear in pluging browser as appear in image below

it is simple thing
just install the ipk file then from plugin browser choose the plugin and click what you want to install

do i need to extract the files before loading them onto my box or do i just send them over zipped? (i understand this is probably a stupid question but just wanna be totally sure)

ive got the file into the correct folder but im not getting an option to install it nor does it appear in my plu gin menu?

can anyone think if theres anything i might be doing wrong?

you can install the ipk using dreamboxcontrolcentre , DCC ,

load up dcc
make sure its connected to box via network
go to tools on left side on dcc
go to "ipkg packages"
click upload package - browse to file diectory andupload the unzipped file (in ipk format)
click update package
check telnet screen in dcc look for "install complete " or somethin similar
reboot box , and look in plugins for tunisiasat plugin

Thanks southpaw. That's something I haven't tried and I'll give it a go in the morning cuz I'm gettin double vision staring at screens for 14 hrs today and not getting anywhere.

A couple of Q's to avoid any poss pitfalls and frustration.
When you say connected via network do u mean via Ethernet cable?
Also when I unzip, if it's like some other files I've tried it'll have about 3 folders with files in, which file do I upload?

Network connection means make sure you box is online , however you connect it , Ethernet is fine , the file you need ends in dot ipk mate , not sure were you getting 3 folders from but just concentrate on ipk file , if you get no were with this download , search google for "tunisiasat plugin " make sure you get the ipk file tho
