hi guys a stupid question but whats a dream box and is it any think like the virgine cable box were u can what free channels on sky sat

a dreambox is a linux satellite reciever and like any satellite reciever it will let you watch all the free to air channels on any satellite .if you mean is it like the cable boxes that gave free channels untill the last 12 months no ,its not like a cable box in that respect. you can connect the dreambox to your broadband router and you can install whats called a cam (usually installed with the remote control ) and then you can purchase whats called a c line from a server ( this is a line of info that you put into the box) and that would give you channels but not free. this topic of conversation is not allowed on digital kaos so thats all i can say about it.
