    Hi
Sorry to "tag in" on your post only couldn't find how to "start new post/thread"!!!

Anyway my 800HD clone has similar problem: Image is DE Blackhole (don't know which version) bought new Medion 1TB hard drive, purchased external eSata cable and hooked it all up. Went through menu/setup/initialize hard disk. Everything "whirls" away and blue activity light on HD flashes away then get message saying: Unable to initialize hard disk. Error: Mount failed. (Also get same results when connected using USB cable) So maybe we have same problem!! and I would be very gatefull of any help also.

Again apologies in "tagging onto " your post

Top left of each forum is a start thread tab, click that and wite in the box that opens up.

      THE TRUTH
      The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

            Hi porter1

When you say: " sorted here" did/have you done anything please, and also "not mapped mine" could you explain more please?
Did you do anything to get yours working or did it suddenly start on it's own. Many thanks for any help/answers

ye m8 go to blue panel /extra settings, then devices manager, then red button should show your mountpoints,it didnt om mine, think it says red button for mount ,i pressed it(even though my drive wasnt there),tells ye to restart it,go back into it again(same process) and the drive showed up,name etc and to the right ye have the option to change from not mapped to mapped, then ye restart it again and then lokk again and the drive is mapped, hope this helps, someone helped me on this, good luck, mines dream elite so might be slightly different from yours?

Hi porter1 Thanks for very informative and easy to follow instructions. Well I think I may have got to the bottom of mine - although still not working!! Full story: bought hard drive (HD) put straight onto DB as above. Think problem is I should have "hooked" upto computer first to "set-up" HD!!???
When I now connect (HD) to computer (Vista, Windows 7 or XP) the computer loads all the drivers and tells me the HD is ready to use but when I goto "my computer" option the HD isn't showing. Anyone know how to overcome this please? Sorry to woffle on but would love to sort for Xmas please.

Have a great Xmas everyone and a Happy and Prosperous New Year
