do i need to scan

if i want to send a signal to my box upsairs do i have to scan for sats on the upstairs box or will it be sent down the ether net cable
dont want to breake any rules with post deleat if it has

do you mean to another receiver upstairs from a multi lnb? if so then yeah you'll need to scan on both boxes and edit anything that needs editing if you catch my drift

nope 1 dish 1 box down stairs and then do what we cant talk about on here to the box upstairs

the box upstairs will still need to be connected to the dish mate, otherwise they'll be no channels to unscramble
