Dreambox was working, not now

Have just turned on Dreambox upstairs and it says Service could not be found on the FTA channels like BBC1 etc....it has been working for approx 1 and a half years. When I do a manual scan it says that it cant find/lock on a transponder. I am scanning the Astra/EuroBird sattelite. Help.Nothing has changed.

possibly faulty tuner, faulty lnb, or problem with cabling. can you get hold of another box to try on our set ??

No have no access to another sat box, could i diagnose the problem through my dreambox?

if you could borrow a sky box and plug your coax into it then if it works you can take it that the LNB, Dish and Cabling are fine so the problem would be your Dreambox..

Think I will bring the box around to sisters house and see does it pick up channels, her sky is working.If it doesnt think the tuner could be gone, if it works, then lnb is gone.Thanks
