.cfg file transfer

I am using the new Dream Elite 1.0 final image and have installed CCcam 2.1.4 but when i FTP my .cfg file over it says that the file is emply. I have tried lots of times but it always says that the filesize is 0.
Please can you help?

Are you sure the file isn't empty? Haveyou tried open it with notepad or wordpad first? Failing that it could be the permissions on the dreambox are set to read only and so you can't overwrite them. If this is the case, and you can telnet to thebox then you need to type:

chmod ogu+w the_filename.cfg

obviously replace the_filename.cfg with the name of the file you're trying to overwrite. Obviously you'll need to be in the directory that contains the file to change the permissions. Then transfer the file again.
